How to Disable the NVIDIA App Overlay

The NVIDIA App has replaced GeForce Experience. Its overlay lets you record, stream and monitor performance, but it can impact game performance.

1. Open Settings

   Open the NVIDIA App and click the Settings icon (gear) in the left sidebar.

2. Select the Features tab

   In the Settings menu, make sure the Features tab is selected.

3. Turn off the overlay

   Set the NVIDIA overlay toggle to Off.
