How to Disable the Discord Overlay

The Discord overlay shows who is talking on your server, but it can cause compatibility or performance issues.

1. Open User Settings

   Open Discord and click the User Settings icon (gear).

2. Open Game Overlay

   Scroll down to Activity Settings and click Game Overlay.

3. Turn off the overlay

   Set Enable in-game overlay to Off.
